*3mm thick, made of dense rubber with no fillers (no pvc, plastic, foam etc). Not squishy, but the high density of rubber helps with absorption for joints.

*For Additional Cushioning & Absorption On Hard Surfaces (tile, cement, hardwood etc) We Recommend Using The Square36 Yoga 3.0 Mat As An Underlay. Used Together, The Square36 Cardio And The Square Yoga 3.0 Provide 9mm Of Cushioning.

*Store the mat laying flat or in the rolled position, NOT folded. Folding the mat can cause crease damage.

*To clean use a cloth or mop & water mixed with a few drops of mild dish soap. For a quick clean use a vacuum or broom.

A BIG HEAVY MAT: An exercise mat is pretty much the most important piece of fitness equipment that you need for home workouts. Yoga mats are designed for stretching, not for workouts where you need room to move around and you wear shoes, like P90X and Insanity. The CARDIO Mat is designed to fill this void, with its large size and grippy rubber surface.
There are 3 major exercise mat materials: PVC, TPE, and Rubber. Rubber is the most expensive material, but in our opinion it is the grippiest, heaviest and most durable. It commands a price premium over plastic/pvc mats but we feel it is most effective for home workouts. Square36 is made of a premium, proprietary rubber blend.
